Welcome to Snowdrop Translation Services
I am Simona, a native Italian, UK based professional translator with over 20 years’ experience in languages and communication.
I translate from English and French into Italian and, depending on the project, from Italian and French into English.
My professional journey has always been about helping people communicate their message clearly and effectively in Italian, ensuring their words have the same precision and impact as they do in their original language.
Making a positive difference is also very important to me.
I strive to do so by providing a high-quality, ethical and friendly service, and by only accepting work in areas which resonate with my values and interests, and where I know I can do an excellent job.

Why snowdrops?
There are three reasons why I chose this little flower as my translation partner!
Firstly, snowdrops remind me of the region of the Italian Alps where I grew up. Every year they poke their little heads out of the snow with a brave, optimistic attitude which I really like.
Then the name: snowdrop, perce-neige, bucaneve - so lovely and easy to pronounce in all my languages.
Finally, snowdrops are clean and crisp, yet elegant and sturdy. They also symbolize a promise of brighter things ahead.
That’s exactly what I aim to bring to my translation work: clarity, precision, and the confidence to help my clients achieve their goals.
